Hello, my name is Jason T. Williams. I currently work as a contract designer for FINRA, but am open to a full-time position if the right opportunity presents itself.
As a designer, I'm a believer in keeping it simple, being obsessive over my craft, taking ownership, and giving a damn. I am also curious, empathetic, meticulous and experimental. I appreciate a holistic way of solving problems through team collaboration. I like quick thinking, rapid prototyping, and learning through testing.
I seek to own creative excellence at every touchpoint. I remain extremely hands-on, being actively involved in pixel-level detail every day. I’m a passionate student of real-world design, users, consumers, trends, competitors, and culture. Through listening, learning and mining insights, I fight for work that directs my client’s brand into amazing places.
My time in Grand Rapids, Minneapolis, LA and now DC has given me an incredible opportunity to work with amazing teams on a wide range of projects. I have great industry experience working across many different fields ranging from brand building, marketing, advertising, traditional graphic design, identities, motion graphics, environmental graphics, retail, signage, events, omni-channel platforms, and interactive product design.
